Hi, I’m Dr. Alexa! I was born and raised in Decorah, Iowa, and graduated from Decorah High School in 2016. A few months later, I moved to Cedar Rapids to attend Coe College, where I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in 2020. After graduation, I took two years off to marry my high school sweetheart and work before beginning chiropractic school at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, where I’ll graduate in October 2025.
During my time at Palmer, I became a mom to my son, Carver. Receiving chiropractic care throughout my pregnancy and postpartum journey was transformative— it not only supported my health and well-being, but also introduced me to the incredible world of pediatric and perinatal chiropractic. Carver received his first adjustment at just four days old and has continued regular care ever since. Witnessing the profound impact chiropractic has had on both of us inspired me to focus my practice on serving growing families with gentle, evidence-based care.
Outside of the clinic, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy crafting, cooking and baking, gardening, reading, and staying active through mat Pilates and long walks outdoors.
My goal is to create a supportive, welcoming space where families feel empowered and cared for— beginning before birth and continuing through childhood and beyond.
